L.M. Bain started writing when she was nine years old. As a teenager, she wrote mostly poetry, and a couple of short novellas with romance being the focal center of the story. A non-traditional student, she graduated from Gonzaga University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, then went on to pursue a master’s degree from Arizona State University in clinical counseling. L.M. Bain currently works as a guidance counselor for Mountain View high school in Mesa, Arizona. She is also a faculty member for the local community college.

When she is not writing, teaching or counseling, she can be found in her home in Mesa, spending time with her husband, three children and their spoiled shih-tzu, or on a road trip adventure with her family, daydreaming about her next writing venture.
